We are a charity which supports those who have undergone treatment for cancer. We work hard to fundraise with discos, fashion shows, car boots and raffles amongst our many activities which provides us with sufficient funds to operate our activities on a regular basis.

Any donations, which would be gratefully received would provide us with additional funds to support our members by purchasing items of kit and maintenance of our two boats.

Every four years, dragon boat teams from around the world gather for the International Breast Cancer Paddlers Commission. We are currently appealing for sponsorship to cover registration fees to attend the 2026 IBCPC Festival on the shores of Lac du Bourget, France, where 4500 participants from breast cancer dragon boat teams from 37 countries around the world. If you are able to support one of our members with the registration fee of £350 it would be greatly appreciated. Participants will cover the travel and accommodation fees personally.

Manchester Airport Community Trust Fund

Our team have been kitted out with new buoyancy aids and shower proof jackets courtesy of the Manchester Airport Community Fund. A huge thank you to the trustees for accepting our application in 2024.

The Manchester Airport Community Trust Fund is a charity dedicated to bringing lasting benefit to those areas most affected by the airport’s operations.
